M3 poster concept

I came up with 2 concepts and I am still undecided which route to take. I will continue to develop each and see where it leads me.

        Initial concept would be to create a horizon of earth in which  has  several Billboards with corporate names, taking up space and being an eyesores,  creating an apocalyptic vision of the earth. The message would be in outer space, forming  almost like an attack plan.  I would treat as a video game  with font and layout to make it easily readable.it would be fairly symmetrical balanced design  as the focal point would be going downwards.  

This concept revolves around a circle which represents earth but it will be an EKG monitor showing the critical status of the planet. The background would be a faded view skyscrapers but also trees . On the bottom would be icons, almost like buttons, under these icons there would be a brief description what to do.

Hijacked part 2

 I decided to use the Environmental issue as my image hijack exercise. Ralphie and the gun issue would’ve been cool but I knew I would have more fun and learn more for this exercise doing this.
I used several tools and techniques suc as the select tool then deleted background. I also did some “painting to create more smog” I found a very dramatic polluted sky background.   I used 3 separate images of garbage and layered them into each other. I then felt I had to add people with masks to finalize the look. I was debating about putting words, in the end I decided not to because I felt would distract from the main image.

Hijacked Part 1

My three political issues I chose were: Environment, Healthcare, Gun control

Environment I wanted to pick a beautiful setting, pristine looking. I had so many options especially just pure nature. I finally decided to pick the Taj Mahal. Man made natural wonder kept in pristine condition.I would like to superimpose all sorts of trash and pollution 

littered and completely engulfing this to show that we as society must stop trashing our world and treat it with respect.

Healthcare.   With so many of us weighed down by so many burdens why are we paying so much for something to keep us in the best health not having more burden.
 The healthcare crisis is sickening. 

I was going to choose a famous athlete like
Arnold Schwarzenegger lifting weights while superimposing more weights on the barbell that represent our different burdens , meanwhile changin the barbell so it’s really bending.

My third issue to choose was gun control. This  may seem insensitive.but the first thing I think about gun control is the line from the movie The Christmas Story film “you’ll shoot your eye out. Add in an automatic machine gd it means something more. Kids with guns or the ease of getting a gun like this.p
